ESTIMATES AND DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Initial Consultation
a. Building rapport and listening to customer’s goals and objectives
b. Notes are taken and later typed up for follow-up and estimating
the cost of the project
c. No estimate given at this time
Additional Site Evaluation
a. Develop cost estimates
b. Determine materials needed and tasks to be performed
c. No charge for estimates only
Note: We may determine that a computer generated design will be
necessary. This will require the customer’s signed approval
and acceptance along with a 50% down payment. Most computer generated
designs range from $400 - $800.
If the client chooses to have Florida Landscapes complete the installation
of the project, the 50% balance will not be collected. If the customer
chooses not to have Florida Landscapes complete the project, the 50%
balance would be due when the computer generated design is presented
to, and accepted by, the customer.
Second client meeting to review estimate
and design
a. This is critical meeting where changes can be made to insure that
all client’s goals and objectives are met.
b. Every effort will be made to keep the total cost as reasonable
as possible to meet the customer’s budget needs, however, quality
standards will not be sacrificed. The quality of materials and craftsmanship
is of the utmost importance in order to provide the customer with
a stunning result.
c. Once the customer has approved all changes, a signature of approval
and 50% down payment will be required. This 50% is of the total cost
for the project. Balance is due upon completion of the project, so
long as the customer is very satisfied with the results.

INSTALLATION JOB FLOW
Most jobs require
a certain combination of the following tasks:
- Tree/shrubs
& stump removal & pruning
- Tree/shrubs
transplanting
- Soil importation
+ grading
- Drainage
issues
- Irrigation
repairs, renovation, or installation
- Plant material
procurement & installation
- Watering,
clean-up & hauling of all debris
NOTE: All
plant materials are hand selected for each job by Jim and/or Frank.
Plant selections can vary based upon availability and quality. No
landscape installation is complete until all customer goals and
objectives have been met or exceeded. At this time a final invoice
will be prepared and presented to customer for payment in full.
Our desire is that all our customers will be amazed at the final
product and the value they have received.
Many of our
customers ask about our maintenance programs. We do not perform
weekly lawn maintenance, however, we do offer specific maintenance
such as:
- Horticultural
pruning
- Fertilization
- Seasonal
color plantings
- Mulching
This enables us to determine the proper growth and development
of your new Florida Landscape. We will discuss your landscape
maintenance needs during the actual landscape installation.
